India’s area is which 21% is forest .
India has 15200 km  international land boundary.
Most coast line of India is 6100km.
Total coast line of India is 7516km including lakshdeep and Andaman nichobar.

India is surrounded by 7 countries- Bangladesh,China,Pakistan,Myanmar,Nepal,Bhutan and Afghanistan.
Jammu and Kashmir covers longest international land boundary.
17 states of India which have international land boundaries.

Facts about India-Pakistan

Line between India and Pakistan is red cliff.
Siachin of India which is captured from Pakistan in 1989 has highest battle field in the world.
P.o.k is a disputed area , in which India shown p.o.k on his map and Pakistan on his map.
Sir creek of Gujarat is also a disputed area of India and Pakistan.
India is against the karakoram road and gwadar port in Pakistan made by China for easy transport to China because both passed through p.o.k. that’s why India is against the China Pakistan economic corridor.
There is a line between p.o.k and I.o.k called l.o.c.(line of control).
There are 4 states of India which makes land boundaries with Pakistan-Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.

River Dispute between India and Pakistan.
(a) kishan- Ganga project- kishan-Ganga-Jammu & Kashmir
(b) baglihar project-chenab – Jammu&kashmir
(c) neemo bazago project-Indus-j&k
(d) Tulbul project-jhelam-j&k
(e) retele project- chenab-j&k.
Indus river water treaty is also disputed river related to Pakistan.
Facts about India and China
Line between India and China is called machmohan line.
5 states touches the China – j&k,Uttrakhand,Himachal Pradesh,Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
Aksaichin, a part of Jammu and Kashmir is disputed area which is captured by china but both countries shown that part on their map.
Pengong lake is also disputed lake which is in Uttrakhand.
Danlet beg oldier area, chunar,rakinala depsang and demchak all are disputed area between India and China.
Dokalam of Sikkim is also a disputed area.
India is Against of China’s policy of developing ports and airbases in Indian ocean.
1. Gwadar port (Pakistan).
2. Habbantota port (Sri Lanka).
