  6. Excellent explanation! Still way too complicated. I never liked ten best picture nominees but only five in all the other categories. That means five directors, actors, actresses, etc., don”t stand a chance because their categories can only have five nominees while there are ten best picture nominees. The first time I noticed this and didn”t like it was Argo. Ben Affleck directed what became best picture, but wasn”t nominated because there were only five slots in his category of director, yet ten slots in best picture. That just doesn”t make sense. If they increased the number of best picture nominees, why didn”t they go ahead and increase the number of nominees in every category? Otherwise it”s not fair. custom written essays
